When the Munchen originally debuted in the 70′s, its groundbreaking PU outsole made it one of the lightest training shoes on the market at the time. This re-issue of the Munchen is as close to the original as you’ll get, being hand made in the Scheinfeld factory in Germany, they come housed in a 1:1 reproduction of the original box whilst the upper features pig skin suede panels and premium leather stripes with vintage style laces.

This version of the Munchen is limited to 500 pairs worldwide and will be released in-store on the 18th of february 2012.(This saturday) They will cost £185 and will be sold on a strict first come first served basis.

After seeing stock pictures of the leopard forum mids a few months ago I’ve been eagerly awaiting their arrival in the store, and now that they’re here I can say that they were definitely worth the wait! Featuring a black leather upper with faux leopard fur and a classic gum sole, no one can disagree that this is one serious trainer and i’d be honestly surprised if these don’t get snapped up on sight.

As usual these are exclusively sold by us and our sister store no74 outside of Japan. They release tomorrow (12/11/2011) So try your best to get a pair because once they’re gone they’re gone for good!
